My Independent Summery

My book is called "Mandie and the Secret Tunnel" and now i am going to tell you about it .This particular book is adventure and mystery squished into one book.All 40 books are amazing. I have not read all of these books but Ihear that all of these books are AMAZING.But this purticular book of mine is about Mandie,her mom, and her sister and how Mandie's dad passes away .This book also includs how she gets by when she get sent to another home away from home that is TERRIBLE!!Then finly she decides to run away from her home away from home with her indian friend she calls Uncle Ned. When Mandie finely runs away from home Mandie decides she wants to go toher real uncles house. When they arrive Mandie lears that her Uncle had died while traveling to Europe. Mandie was devstated by this news but was happy when she met the next door neighbors daughter,Polly.Polly and Mandie became friends real fast.But now her and polly are looking for her uncles will.Will they find it?

I Know It's Autumn

The main idea of this story is that a girl in this story tells how she knows how it is Autumn. Here are some things of how she knows it is Autumn,that there are leaves that are falling off the trees ,and the jackalanterns wear there crooked smiles, when they pick apples for there mothers apple pie,and when they go on hay rides with there friends.

This book is written by Nancy Hayashi. I recamend that all people read this book ,adults and kids.here are some of the resons how I can tell if it is fall, that the leaves tur to a bright yellow or deep red, and it gets frightfully cold.

How Lightbulbs Changed the World

The invention that had the greatest impact on the world was the lightbulb. Because it gave the world light,and it kept people from useing gas lamps and candles. It helped to light the streets in the night. And it helped light the stores ,houses ,barns,and schools. People could just turn lights on with just a flip a switch. It is was the greatest invetion because we use it in our everyday lives and helps us get things done more faster.
